WELCOME TO MY WILD IRIS ROWS WHERE OUR IRIS AISLES ARE SMILING!!
Garden Update-May 6th: The unseasonably cold weather has put off the bloom...BUT...new bloomstalks appear daily and the bloom is turning out to be a rather good one. Mothers day looks like a real winner this year(within a couple days of peak bloom), if your available it will be worth the time spent. Check the Information page for the latest garden condition update. We are currently accepting orders for the 2008 Iris Season. We have added about 65 new varieties this season. A limited supply of potted iris are also available. Please enjoy looking at all of the pictures here on the site and have a nice Spring. The Santa Rosa Iris Society's annual show last weekend was a big success! CONGRATULATIONS to Dick Terheyden for winning "Queen of Show". Quite a feat considering he only entered one stalk for the whole show! We are a tall bearded iris garden located in the wine country in the town of Santa Rosa, California. We offer several varieties through the garden, online or by mail from March through August 15th. The garden is open in the Spring (April 18th - May 18th, Fri, Sat, & Sun) and we encourage you to view the iris in bloom and make your selections. If you cannot make it to the garden, please enjoy touring our website. Missing photos will be filled in as the varieties come in to bloom. You can use Paypal (they take Visa, Mastercard, etc.) to make easy online payments or you can download a copy of our order form to send your order through the mail. We are very happy to introduce a new iris by Jim Begley this year. Jim's iris are very popular and very hardy. This year's variety is "Lullabye of Broadway"--a fitting name for a Manhattan Hattie cross. Please see our INTRODUCTIONS page. GARDEN HOURS: APRIL 18 - MAY 18 FRI, SAT & SUN 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM |
